Robert Windsor and Ann Hobbs named water and wastewater operators of the year
Robert Windsor of Delmar was named the 2012 Water Operator of the Year, and Sussex County Engineering’s Ann F. Hobbs of Frankford was named the 2012 Wastewater Operator of the Year at the 2013 Operator of the Year Ceremony held May 2 at Delaware Technical Community College’s Owens Campus.
Ten Sleep has tastiest water, judges decide
We sipped, sniffed and swished water from our wine glasses today and unknowingly voted the town of Ten Sleep to statewide stardom.It was the Wyoming Association of Rural Water Systems' "Best Tasting Drinking Water in Wyoming contest," part of the group's 22nd annual conference and trade show. Nearly 600 licensed waste water operations specialists, elected officials and water-related professionals stopped by the show's 60-some vendor booths at the Parkway Plaza Hotel and Convention Centre in Casper.

Mississippi rural water responds after tornado
Kirby Mayfield was in Washington, D.C. for the Rural Water Rally when he learned that a tornado was cutting through Mississippi. He immediately called his staff of water professionals, and had them prepare to offer assistance to affected water utilities.
